This 10-hectare block is located at the base of Pukeora Scenic Road, Waipukurau and has a number of well-maintained tracks and bridges meandering through established and newly planted trees and plaques placed in memory of the community's loved ones.
The first trees were planted in 1993 by a local group of tree enthusiasts and is owned and curated by the Rotary Club of Waipukurau for the community and visitors to enjoy. With many of the early plantings now well established, the colourful seasonal changes, and the wonderful views overlooking the Tuki Tuki River and Waipukurau Township, the Pukeora Forest of Memories is indeed a special place to visit.
From the brilliant golds in autumn to the colorful blossoms in spring, these short walking tracks are ideal for stretching the legs in any season.
