Home to the Hawke's Bay BMX club since it was built in 2013, the Havelock North limestone track covers 7000m2 and was built and designed to national standards.
Recent renovations were also completed in order for the track to host the BMXNZ National Championships in March 2024.
At the same time, a new pump track (pictured below) was developed alongside the BMX track to provide space for even more activities on wheels - including scootering and skateboarding (which isn't possible on the limestone BMX track).
